He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Piltz and Mildetta Piltz. He is survived by: his wife Mary-Lu Piltz; his children, Greg Piltz (Lisa), Sue Piltz, Diann Davis (Todd), Wayne Piltz (Kris) and Steve (Dara); his grandchildren, Jake Davis, Trenton Piltz (Savannah), Erika Fiset (Connor), Serena Krejchi (Jon), Drew Davis (Lauren), Kayla Piltz, Sheila Haskings, Cole Piltz and Ella Piltz; and his great grandchildren, Boone Aryaman, Owen, Riley, Tripp and Griff. He is also survived by many family members, friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to St. James the Greater Catholic Church.
