He is survived by: his wife Nancy Johnson; his children, Julie Morrison (Rick), Terra Buss (Bruce), Michael Sparks (Michelle), James Sparks and Stephanie Peterson; his grandchildren, Katelynn Dougherty (Dallas), Erica Smith (Kevin), Kyler Sparks, Nicole Buss, Stephanie Scribner (Austin), Alex Ingram (Dana), Travis Buss, Kenadee Sparks and Jordyn Peterson; his great grandchildren, Jackson, August, Opal, Oliver and Hayes; his brother Ron Sparks (Cindi); his siblings-in-law, Ken Johnson, Pat Gunderson and Sally Pitts; his stepson Dan Gehrke (Julie); his stepgrandsons, Kyle (Laura), Derrick (Emma) and Luke Gehrke (Leah); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Carter, Blake, Lena, Malakai, Abel, Ruben and Josie. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Interment: St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Eau Claire, Wisconsin; The family requests no flowers.
