He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Art, Arlene Rude, Dorothy, George Holgate, Carl and Emma Roinestad.

He is survived by: his son Trae Holgate; his parents, Connie (Wayne Roinestad) and Will Holgate; his siblings, Leslie Amy (Justin Dascher), Diedrich and Todd Holgate; his niece Emma Vi; his friend Lionel Peterson; and his brother-in-law Justin. He is also survived by many uncles, cousins, and loving friends.
