“I am so saddened by the death of your mother…and my dear friend, Mary Rae. We became good friends in junior high, high school, and afterwards. I was so happy…and surprised..to have her and Larry become my backyard neighbors when I bought a house on Polk Avenue. We didn’t see as much of each other once I moved away (I have lived in Chetek for the last 13 years), but I always considered her one of my dearest friends. I will be out of town all of next week and unable to attend her funeral. Lois Jo”
