He was predeceased by: his sister Joyce Pokrant; his granddaughter Rachel Kralovetz; and his parents, Melvin Gauerke and Eleanora Gauerke (Jensen). He is survived by: his wife Mary Gauerke (Birmingham) of Eau Claire; his children, Jeff Gauerke (Mindy) of St. Peters, Carrie Kralovetz (Gauerke) of New Richmond and Jonathan Gauerke (Maegan) of Peoria, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Seth, Sarah, Jadon Gauerke, Ian, Logan Kralovetz, Caelyn, Isaac and Micah Gauerke; his brother Eugene Gauerke (Donna) of Rockford, Illinois.; and his nieces and nephews, Jayne Carter (Mike), Jill Rodila (Raul), Vicki Pokrant, Brian Gauerke (Stephanie) and Mark Pokrant (Jon).
