He is survived by: his wife Carol Leer of Eau Claire; his children, Karen Langenberger (Steve) of Cape Coral, FL, Fredrick Leer (Joni) of Richland Center, WI and Peter Leer of Eau Claire; his grandchildren, Matthieu Leer, Melanie Leer, Joshua Leer and Nathan Leer; his sisters, Muriel Roach of Salmon, ID and Beatrice Meyer of Chippewa Falls; and his sister-in-law Diane Stowe of Yantis, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
