He was predeceased by: his son Jesse LaPointe; his parents, Betty Dutter and David LaPointe Sr.; his stepfather Chuck Dutter; and his sister Brenda Sanders.
He is survived by: his children, April Jnofinn, Nicole LaPointe (Bryon), Patrick Eaton (Jade), Justin LaPointe (Azia) and Gabriella (Anthony) of Nevada; his grandchildren, Brayden, Arya Jnofinn, Lyla, Jaxtin LaPointe and Landyn McDonald; his brothers, Rick LaPointe (Brenda) and David LaPointe; and his nephew David LaPointe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
