He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Curtis and Gwendolyn Curtis; his grandparents, Warren and Elizabeth; his wife Diane Curtis; and his great grandchild Desmond Ruxton.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jane Elizabeth Stevens (Curtis) and Sarah Ann Curtis (Christopher Fraser); his grandchildren, Warren Stevens (Kerri Weecks) and Elizabeth Ruxton (Dustin); his great grandchildren, Declan, Joslyn, Lucille, Aidan and Lorence; and his cousin Ted Balcom (Kathleen).
