With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John A. Goetz of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvina Goetz (Bushendorf) and Edwin Goetz of Elk Mound; his grandfather John; his siblings, Ruth Goetz, Dorothy Huggins (Jesse), Don Goetz (Betty) and Louis Goetz (Vi); and his nephews, Gregg Goetz, Wayne Goetz and Ben Goetz.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Dawn; his siblings, Harold Goetz, Marian Soppeland (LaVerne) and Arlene Easterson (Robert); his sisters-in-law, Joan Kraft and Valerie Sutherland (Fred); and also, Laura Goetz (Dawn Briskey), Joel Goetz (Holly), Hunter, Annabelle, Asher, Sarah, Becca and Rachel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, several great and great-great nieces and great-nephews, and dear friends.
John A. Goetz, age 83, died due to complications of Alzheimer's disease at home in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, surrounded by his loving family on December 3, 2024.
