With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James J. Brunner Jr. (Eau Claire, Wisconsin), born in Durand, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 3, 2019 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James J. Brunner Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brunner and Evelyn Brunner (Spindler); his sister Margaret; his daughter Mary Ann; and his brother-in-law Steve McNaughton.

He is survived by: his wife Barb; his daughters, Colleen Davis (Jimmy) of New Richmond, Mary Jo Brunner of New Richmond and Sara Brunner of Eau Claire; his grandchildren, Landon and Lauren Davis; and his siblings, Carol Pittman of Menomonie, Anita Arndt (Mike) of Marshfield, Wayne (Janet) of Arkansaw, Suzanne McNaughton of Omaha, NE and Teresa Smith (Tim) of Dixon, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

"Jimmy" age 72 of Arkansaw, died Saturday August 3, 2019 at Care Partners Assisted Living in Eau Claire due to complications of Parkinson's Disease.

“So sad to hear of jim's passing due to terrible parkinson's disease. In the past two years i have lost three close friends to parkinson's. I read jim's fist published book of poems and thoroughly enjoyed it. Being a farm boy like jim, although somewhat older, our vocabularies and terms meshed perfectly.
