He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph BaDour and Anne BaDour (Smith); his wife Arlene Duss BaDour; his daughter Nancy; his siblings, Gerald (Treva), Thomas, Joseph Anthony, Eugene Jerome and Joanne Poppe (Robert); and his sisters-in-law, Donna (Gerald) and Susan (John).

He is survived by: his former wife Juanita Prisel Kremer; his children, James, Jr. (Denise), Keith (Luann) and Mary Beth; his granddaughter Brittany; his brother John (Christine); and his sister-in-law Doreen. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
