Jackie L. Furtney Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jackie L. Furtney (Eau Claire, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 26, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jackie had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Jackie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathy Furtney; his children, Jessica Wiltgen (Ryan) and Eric Furtney (Charles Langland); and his grandchildren, Alyssa (Frank Coppola), Austin and Michael Wiltgen (Allycia Tran).

In lieu of gifts or flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
