He was predeceased by: his parents, Severt Carlson and Merle Carlson (Halberg); his son Jonathan; and his brother Dwayne Carlson (Jeannine). He is survived by: his wife Edna Mayer; his children, Jeff (Renee) and Yolanda (Rod); his grandchildren, Jasha, Brooklyn (Anna), Christopher, Carissa (Andrew), Casey (Alex) and Nicholas; his great grandchild Jordan; and also, David, Dale Carlson (Micki) and Linda Walsh (Jim).
