She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Embertson and Jonethe Embertson; and her siblings, Beatrice LeBegue, Richard Embertson, Joyce Steen and Darlene Stokes.

She is survived by: her husband James C. Ganther Jr.; her children, Jay Ganther (Susan), Randy Ganther, Jill Wallin (Steve) and Rod Ganther (Tami); her grandchildren, Bre Tilton (Michael), Jenna Ganther, Shayla, Gabe Wallin, Gracelyn, Cody Ganther and Brady Reetz; and her great grandchildren, Elliot Tilton and Kent Reetz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
