George John Melnyk D. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2025 we had to say goodbye to George John Melnyk D. of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Ihor Melnyk; and his significant other Akitas. He is survived by: his wife Diane Melnyk of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; his daughters, Diana Melnyk Christian (Alexander) and Alexandra Melnyk; his grandchildren, Eliza, Samantha Rutledge, Anthony and Lara Christian; his stepsons, DJ Stiffler (Brooke) and Scott Stiffler; his stepgrandchildren, Cadence, Cambrie, Carson and Lilly Stiffler; his mother Oksana; his sisters, Areta Rago (Peter) and Christine Magnuson (Scott); his godson Steven Rago; his friends, Charlie, Tripper, Punkin, Greta, Dandy and Thomas; his brother Alexander; and his pet Boomer. He is also survived by many friends, neighbors.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Muzyka Funeral Home (2157 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60622). A wake will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 5:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Ukrainian Catholic Church (5000 N Cumberland Ave, Chicago, IL 60656).
