He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janet; his children, Ashley Megan McDonel and Cody Ryne McDonel; his parents, Delores McDonel Jacques of Panama City, FL and Richard "Dick" McDonel of Eau Claire, WI; his siblings, Taschie Summers and Sheila McDonel; his siblings-in-law, John Jamrozik (Sherry) and Joyce Sorensen (Kevin); his close friend Lannie Overton (Judy); and his godson Ryan Overton.
