He was predeceased by: his parents, Bradford Gunderson and Verna Gunderson (Burt); and his wife Virginia E. "Ginny" Gunderson (Wright). He is survived by: his children, Kelly Strenski (John) of Wichita Falls, John Gunderson of Eau Claire, Marie Gunderson of Eau Claire and Rebecca Olson (Jeff) of Eau Claire; his grandchildren, Mariah Wheeler (Will), Kyler Staves, Kaden Staves, Emily Strenski, Jake Strenski, Kellen Olson and Jace Olson; his siblings, Dan Gunderson (Nancy), Debby Lee and Dawn Buckley (Tim); and his friend Irene. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
