With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara Jean Kistner (Eau Claire, Wisconsin), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the sacred silence of farewell, Barbara is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Barbara's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernice Reckin and Yvonne Reckin (Bancroft). She is survived by: her brothers, Ron and Charles (Roseanne); her son Jeff (Jody); her grandchildren, Brock and Brianna; her sister-in-law Luanne Reckin; and her aunt Luanne. She is also survived by her two sons, two brothers, two grandchildren, a sister-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral & Cremation Services (1405 N Clairemont Ave, Eau Claire, WI 54703). A prayer will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
After her two sons had their own homes and wives, Alzheimer's started robbing her of independence.
