He was predeceased by: his father Leonard M. Check. He is survived by: his mother Laurayne Check (Shinko); his children, Andrew Check (Dacia), Amy Erickson, Andrea Crubel (Buck), Sandra Warner and Stephanie Achenbach (Ryan); his sisters, Ellen Olson (Ken), Gail Vandermuse (Greg) and Kimberly Gerlach (Thomas); and his grandchildren, Adeline, Silas, Malachi, Analise, Harley, Carson, Eli, Kyle, Ashton, Kaylee, Jayden, Derrick, Brystan, Aralynn and Korrie. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church (57975 Baer CT, Eastman, WI 54626).
