With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Check (Eastman, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 10, 2019 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Check and Genevieve Check (Swatek); his siblings, Clarence, Lawrence, Adeline and Leone (Balk); and his grandson Devin Thomas Gerlach.
He is survived by: his wife Laurayne Check (Shinko); his children, Ellen Olson (Ken) of Mendota, Michael of Eastman, Gail Vandermuse (Greg) of Lakeland and Kimberly Gerlach (Thomas) of Fennimore; and his grandchildren, Erik, Ryan, Andy, Andrea, Amy, Sandra, Stephanie, Katie, Ashley and Heather. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and a nephew.
