He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sprosty and Evelyn Sprosty (Picha); his brother Gary Sprosty; and his siblings-in-law, Candy Sprosty and Gary Becwar Sr..
He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Becwar, Ann Russell (Monte), Joan Hurda (Pat), Mary Walker (Don), Rita Krahn (Lucien), Theresa White (Danny), Carol Trautsch (Tim), Daniel (Peggy), Ronald (Elaine), Mark (Linda) and Greg Sprosty; and his nephew Terry Sprosty. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home (704 S Ohio St, Prairie du Chien, WI 53821). Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church (57975 Baer CT, Eastman, WI 54626).
