He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard M. Fons and Helen Skedzielewski; and his brother Michael Fons (Roxanne). He is survived by: his daughter Jocelyn Collins (Kevin); his grandchildren, Lillian and Cameron; and his sisters, Kathleen Jansen (Jack) and Christine Fons (Dennis Home). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
