Sandra A. Jay Obituary
Sandra "Sandy" Jay Of Eagle/Mukwonago, was born into eternal life on January 7, 2025 at the age of 83. Loving mother of Mark (Mary) Kleinhans, Brian (Dana) Kleinhans, Kurt (Christina Scordato) Kleinhans, step-mother of Sandy Westerdahl, Vicki Rebholz, Randy (Tammy Pridemore) Jay, and Jeff (Jean) Jay; proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Lois Cornehls-Solazo, other relatives and many friends. Sandy was preceded by her husband Gerald "Jerry" Jay, step-son Rick Jay, step-grandson Mike Westerdahl, brother-in-law Greg Cornehls and her parents Howard and Hazel Hafemeister.
Sandra was born in Milwaukee WI in and graduated from Pulaski High school where she was active in band and water ballet. She later moved to Mukwonago, where she worked as an administrative aid at Mukwonago High School and later started her real estate career with Shorewest.
Sandy enjoyed traveling, attending Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers football games and also enjoyed going to the casino.
Sandy was also very active in her faith and was a member of Mt Olive Lutheran church in Mukwonago.
Her family was very important to her and was a loving and generous Sister, Aunt, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and a beautiful soul who would lend a helping hand to anyone.
Although sandy is gone, she will live forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church (211 Main St. Mukwonago) from 1:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 3:00 PM. Private burial will be held at Oak Knoll Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to the Mukwonago Lions Club or the VFW.
The family would like to thank the staff at New Perspectives in Franklin and Harmony Care Hospice for the wonderful care they provided for Sandy. Also, they would like to thank Christy Sarko and Keith Cornehls for all of their help with Sandy.
