He is survived by: his wife Connie Schumann; his children, Erik Schumann (Faith) and Leah Schumann (Aaron); his stepchildren, Jill Mikelson (Jason), Adam Mikelson (Brittany), Benjamin Mikelson (Karen) and Thomas Mikelson (Meghan); his grandchildren, Noah, Isaac, Malcolm and Colbie; and his sisters, Renee Johnson (Dave) and Suzy Barczak (Greg).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (8600 E Bush Lake Rd, Minneapolis, MN 55438).
