With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul O'Brien of Eagle River, Wisconsin, born in Superior, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 13, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose O'Brien and Lucille O'Brien; his wife Mary; and his grandson Galen Doucette. He is survived by: his sons, Jim (Marcia) of Rochester, MN, Marc (Cheryl) of Boulder Junction, WI and Kraig (Tammy) of Sun Prairie, WI; his grandchildren, Jessica Scurte (Justin), Geoffrey O'Brien, Shalom Doucette, Tyler O'Brien and Ethan O'Brien; his great grandchildren, Elle, Brianna and Camryn Scurte; and his siblings, Ray O'Brien (Jana), Mary Lou Nelson (Don), Barbara Joan Lawler and Beverly Jean Somppi (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made in Paul's name to Abundant Life Church, Eagle River Lions Club, Eagle River Recreation Association, Friendly Village, Northland Pines School District, or any of the other organizations previously mentioned.
