She was predeceased by: her son Michael Nelson; and her parents, Vernon Petersen and Florence Petersen. She is survived by: her husband Larry Nelson; her children, Timothy Nelson, Daniel Nelson (Karen) and Janey Nelson; and her grandchildren, Eric Nelson, Timothy Nelson (Faith), Jolene, Sarah, Monica Nelson, Shawna Ivacic (Phil), Julia Nelson, David Nelson (Jenna), Alyssa Alcantar (Christina) and Nicholas Gedemer (Amy). She is also survived by sisters, brothers, and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home (304 E Division St, Eagle River, WI 54521). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
