He is survived by: his parents, Janis Wethington of Morris and William Wethington (Donna) of Coal City; his wife Kristi Caldwell; his sons, Alex and Adam Wethington; his sister Jennifer Stapay (Steven) of Gilberts, Illinois; his niece Emily Stapay; his nephew Andrew Stapay; and his aunts and uncles, Susan Cardinell (Robert) of DeKalb, Donald Silk (Coral) of Des Moines, Thomas Silk of Morris and Larry Wethington (Sue) of Tinley Park.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in John's memory to Cardinals Care via St. Louis Cardinals; Ronald McDonald House or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
