He was predeceased by: his wife Suzanne Hughes; his son Andrew Hughes; his parents, John Hughes and Coral Lea Hughes; and his siblings, Wayne Hughes and Katherine Jean Peverly.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Perkins (late Kent); his grandchildren, Kurt Perkins (Julie), Megan and Portenlanger (Joe); and his great grandchildren, Samantha, Daniella, Joey, Alden, Tyler and Declan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home (415 S Buesching Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047).
