He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hafer and Johanna Hafer (Heun); and his sister Marie Hafer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his brothers, Ralph Heun (Gloria) of New Berlin, WI and Tony Hafer (Cathy) of Phelps, WI; and his children, Yon Hafer (Sarah), Michelle Harder (Don), Brenda Renberg (Jim) and Peter Hafer (Debra). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
