Dennis J. Gechas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis J. Gechas of Eagle River, Wisconsin, born in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 19, 2023 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mel, Josphine Eckardt, Stanley and Vivian Gechas. He is survived by: his parents, Carli Kaufman (Peter) of Antigo and James Gechas (Penny) of Eagle River; his stepchildren, Brittany Woodcock and William Woodcock; his grandson Richard Woodcock; his siblings, Beth Hoffman (Dave), Kari Enders-Kaufman and Jeff Kaufman (Katie); and his close friend Shawn Strutz (Lisa) of Rhinelander. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
