He was predeceased by: his parents, George Congleton and Goldie Congleton; his siblings, Glen, Bernie, Lyle and Audrey; and his grandson Dustin.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Congleton of Eagle River, WI; his children, Amy Congleton of Wausau, WI, Misty Congleton of Rogers, AR, Brack Congleton (Tracy) of Rhinelander, WI, Brian Congleton (Lisa) of Eagle River, WI, Tammy Congleton of Pewaukee, WI, Steve Congleton of Mukwonago, WI and Chris Congleton of Milwaukee, WI; and his brother Charlie Congleton (Margaret) of Clearwater Lake, WI. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
