He is survived by: his children, Mike Schantz (Birdie), Barb Giesler (Mark), Dan Schantz (Lori), Katie Ericksrud (Todd) and Matt Schantz (Michelle); his grandchildren, Andy (Rachel), Aaron (Norma), Joe (Drew), Holly (Braydon), Matt (Brittany), Nina, Brooke (Dylan), Will, Thomas, Daniel (Olivia), Leah, Luke, Adam and Anna; his great grandchildren, Milania, Bailey and Marlo; and his former spouse Shirley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
