He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rednour and Shirley West (Gene); and his siblings, James Pinkston and Terry Pinkston. He is survived by: his former wife Cindy Hoffman; his wife Debra Plank; his children, Nicki Brantner (Gary), Brandi Rasmussen (Curtis Johnson), Rickey West (Patti), Jessica Prissel (Pete), Dewey West (Toneeka Stutesman), Shannon Meurer and Cassie Townsend; his sisters, Sherry Rhodes (Tom), Pamela Hyser (Gary) and Ruth Moeller; and his sister-in-law Deb Pinkston. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
