He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Schaal and Dorothy Schaal (Gabel). He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his sons, Craig Hopper, Eric Hopper (Hope) and Nathan Hopper (Sara); his grandchildren, Vincent, Hailee, Leah, Logan and Kayden; his brother Steven Schaal (Kari); his nephews, Alston, Logan, Gabel and Skyler; and his great-niece Kerrigan.
