He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marjorie and William; his siblings, Juel (Bruce), Bruce, Brent (Janice) and Cheryl; his sons, Phillip and Mark (Rachel); his stepchildren, Robert (Connie), Melissa (Ken), Debbie (Paul), Christie (James) and Daniele; and his grandfather Oren. He was also cherished by 24 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 12 nieces and nephews.
His favorite charities included the National Association for Gun Rights, Rocky Mountain Elk Fountain, Hillsdale College, Shriners Hospital for Children, Judicial Watch, Americans for Freedom, and The Commemorative Air Force Foundation.
