He was predeceased by: his mother Audrey Prissel (Wittig); his granddaughter Abigail Prissel; and his son-in-law Colin Murtaugh. He is survived by: his father Dennis Prissel of Durand; his wife Renee Trainor of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Ashley Murtaugh (Chris Evans) of Batavia, IL, Stephanie Prissel (Ross Dorwin) of Durand, Thomas Durand (Emily) and Chelsey Rademacher (Steven) of Des Lacs, ND; his grandchildren, Brennan, Gavin, Callie, Finn, Audra, Lincoln, Jaxon and Joanna; and his siblings, Randy (Janet) of Durand, Terry of Boyceville, Scott (Becky) of Durand, Denise Fetzer of Menomonie, Jennelle Wolf and Addysen Welch. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rhiel Funeral Home (615 12th Ave E, Durand, WI 54736).
