He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scheidt and Catherine Scheidt Sr. (Schwinn); and his siblings, Joseph, Eugene and Adrian.
He is survived by: his wife Germaine Hermes; his sons, DuWayne Scheidt and William Scheidt (Rachel); his granddaughters, Heather Hunsicker (Josh), Amber Oostdyk and Brianna Collins (Josh); his great grandchildren, Elizah, Gauge, Raiden and Judah; and his niece Connie Sixel (Glen).
