She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Cassellius and Lillian Cassellius (Colburn); and her son Christopher DeSmith. She is survived by: her husband Charles J. DeSmith; her grandchildren, Derek Wink (Bekah), Rochelle Ashleson (David), Denisa, Hadin, Natasha, Marcis, Aria, Sara DeSmith and Brandyn Hallquist; and her siblings, Marge McGee, Doris Kahler (Dale), Charlotte Larson (John), Kathy Dettmann (Jim), Abbie Goossen (Doug) and Walter Cassellius (Diane). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
