He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Upton and Marsha Berkholz (Haberly); and his son Rusty Buster. He is survived by: his wife Heidi Upton; his sons, Jake and Oscar; his parents-in-law, Charlie and Darla Humpal; his stepmothers, Mona Huffaker and Mary Snyder; his siblings, Brian, Chrissy, Debbie, Ethan and Frances; his siblings-in-law, Jason Humpal (Jackie Johnson) and Darcy Hitz (Josh); and his nieces and nephews, Brennan Humpal, Bryce Humpal, Blake Johnson, Lydia Humpal and Delaney Johnson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
