He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Dahlgren and Lillian Dahlgren; his sisters, Virginia Carlson and Dolores; and his brother-in-law Donald McLellan.
He is survived by: his sister Victoria; his brothers-in-law, Warren Knippel and Garith Carlson; and his nieces and nephews, Sherry Zampack (Stephen), Christine Quade (William), Cynthia Gagliano (late Albert), April Marshall (Scott), Sheila Nelson (Dwight) and Shelley Faust (David). He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
