Patrick D. Thym Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick D. Thym of Dodgeville, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Patrick D. Thym to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Thym (Owens) and Paul Thym; his wife Loretta; his son Mitch Thym; his siblings, Paul Thym and Mary Ann Hardin; his siblings-in-law, John Neu, Bernard Prohaska (Mary), Lavern Prochaska (Lorraine), Roselyn (Bob Callin), Rita Imhoff (Bob), Ervin Prochaska and Willard "Bud" Bowers; and his great grandchild Olivia Higgins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deb Fingerson (Dennis) and Dawn Higgins (Kurt Bennett); his brother-in-law Sam Hardin; his daughter-in-law Denise Thym (Madison); his sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Bowers and Jean Prochaska; his grandchildren, Farrah Slinger (Andy), Jason Fingerson (Jodi), Carrie Higgins, Justin Higgins, Jenny Higgins-Hermanson Edmund (Brad Hermanson), Adam Thym, Madison, Mike Thym (Annie), Zach Bennett Ridgeway (Kelsey) and Calynn Bennett Dodgeville (Jeremy Litchfield); his great grandchildren, Ben, Damien, Charlotte Slinger, Elsie, Josie Fingerson, Alfie Thym, Grace Higgins Aliyah Meckley (Andrew Wolfe), Aysen Hermanson, Avery Higgins, Amelia and Maggie Thym; and his close friends, Shirley Erickson, Sarah Jane Thym, Nilda Morak and Madison.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (405 S Dacotah St, Dodgeville, WI 53533). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Iowa County Cancer Coalition.
