She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwayne Heibel and L. Joan Heibel (Reese). She is survived by: her friend Garth Althaus; her husband Garth Althaus; her brother Mike Heibel (Cindy) of New Albany, Indiana; her nephews, Daniel Heibel (Meredith) and Rob Heibel; her stepsons, Aaron and Adam Althaus; and her father-in-law Maurice Althaus. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Joseph's School, St. Joseph's Church or the Iowa County Humane Society.
