John Harland Blabaum Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Harland Blabaum of Dodgeville, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 68, on March 27, 2025. He was predeceased by: his in-laws, Ernest and Delores Ruppert; and his brother-in-law Rusty Maybaum. He is survived by: his parents, Beauford Blabaum and Mildred Blabaum (James); his wife Marilyn Blabaum (Ruppert); his children, Janean Marr (Ryan), Eric Blabaum (Pam) and Brad Blabaum (Mary); his grandsons, Mason Marr and Beau Blabaum; his brothers, Jim Blabaum (Patti) and Mark Blabaum (Ange); and his in-laws, Norma Baker (Galen), Ken Ruppert (Karin), Jean Halvorson (Scott), Phil Ruppert and Annette Maybaum. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:20 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (405 S Dacotah St, Dodgeville, WI 53533).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to The American Heart Association.
