He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ruppert and Elizabeth Ruppert (Dalles); his siblings, Catherine Kopp, Anna Mae Steffes, Elizabeth and Ernest Ruppert; his brothers-in-law, Gilbert Steffes and Donovan Kopp; and his niece Marjorie Wahl.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Delores Ruppert. He is also survived by seven nieces and seven nephews.
