He is survived by: his friend Joan Polodna Balk; his wife Joan of Dodgeville; his siblings, Doris McLaughlin of Vacaville, CA, Janice Olson of Avoca, Linda Renz (David) of Ridgeway and Bernard Henry (Gretta) of Adams, TN; and also, Ken Balk (Saundra Hopkins) of Sun River, OR, Kathy Severson (Jerry) of Salem, WI, Kevin Balk (Cindy) of Platteville, Al Balk (Tammy) of Reedsburg and Tim Balk (Laurie) of Dodgeville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.
