He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Griffiths and Janet Griffiths (Jones); his sisters, Marilyn Griffiths and Virginia (Boyd Booze); and his sister-in-law Marilyn Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Alice (Thompson); his children, Jane Johnson (Dave) of Dunedin, Laura Olson (Stan) of Dodgeville, Sue Kruszynski (John) of Sycamore, Illinois and David Griffiths (Connie) of Jasper, Tennessee; his sister Barbara Leibert (Dick) of York, Pennsylvania; and his brother-in-law Norman Johnson of Mineral Point. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
