He was predeceased by: his parents, William Borcherding and Agnes Borcherding (Bockhop); his brother Cecil Borcherding (Patrica); and his brothers-in-law, Gene Gilbertson (Carol) and Ron Gilbertson.
He is survived by: his wife Luanne Gilbertson of Barneveld; his children, Scott (Cheryl) of Sauk City, Todd (Brenda Haskins) of Madison, Kevin of Dodgeville and Donna Campanelli (Chad) of Monona; his grandchildren, James, Zachary, Grant, Carter, Isabelle, Rae, Erin, Nicole and Macy; his great grandchild Ella; his brother Ivan Borcherding (Lu); and his sister-in-law Helene Gilbertson.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:50 AM at the Gorgen-McGinley & Ayers Funeral Home (400 E Grace St, Dodgeville, WI 53533). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
