She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Brown and Virginia Brown (Harker); her son RJ; her parents-in-law, Gertrude and Lou Skala; her sister-in-law Vicki Brown; her nephew Tim Brown; and her sister-in-law Jeannie Gottschall.
She is survived by: her husband Ron Skala; her daughter Jody Thomas (Jason); her pets, Maggie and Leo; her siblings, Nancy Womack, Ed Brown, Beverly Englund (Durand) and Wendy Kopp (Jerry); and her sister-in-law Joan Alton (Roger). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Agrace Hospice.
