He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarance Gallup Geer and Helen Boyd Wetmore; his wife Marcia Jean Kinder; his siblings, David Geer and Janice Geer Champe; and his son Gary Douglas Geer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Newsome (Keith Newsome) and Lynette Geer-Schuh (Michael Schuh) of Sun Prairie; his granddaughter Alexis Newsome Cuthrell (Logan Cuthrell); and his daughter-in-law Cyndy Storm of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
