He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Louis and Elaine Gust (Stapleton); his brother Jimmie; and his grandparents, Thomas, Elizabeth Stapleton (Reynolds), Gustave and Emma Gust (Henning).
He is survived by: his son Jason Gust (Hollie) of Barneveld; his grandchildren, Ryan and Morgan; his siblings, Jerry Gust (Connie) of Janesville, Mike Gust (Cathy) of Clearwater, FL, Bob of Anchorage, AK and Joan Thompson of Madison; and his aunt Bernadine Gust of Madison. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
